“My career started as an academic researching issues of personal and professional identity that are central to Stork & May’s work: how we determine ourselves through work, age, and change, and how we develop and reinvent ourselves throughout life and career.”

Biography

After a brief university teaching career I became a search consultant specialising in placing top leaders in major educational institutions. Subsequently I became Head of Talent at the Whitehall & Industry Group (the organisation founded by Cabinet Office to connect government and business) where I oversaw the HR, Talent and Coaching networks working with both senior business leaders and civil servants.

My professional coaching practice has grown from and drawn on all these roots. After qualifying as a coach I ran my own coaching business to enable me to work in a more focused way with business clients. I have also had exposure to the tech economy. Immediately prior to joining Stork & May I was a director of a software start-up, in which I designed AI-enabled technology solutions to augment the practice of coaching, talent and career development.
